Events & Activation

Events and brand activation

Some things can’t be communicated in a post. They have to be felt.

I manage and execute brand experiences from concept to the day itself. The strategy behind the event, the build, the logistics, and everything that happens when things don’t go to plan, which they always do. My job is to make sure your audience never knows the difference.

What it looks like in practice

A few years ago I led the community roadshow programme for a major project, bringing a large-scale experience into communities across Singapore. Six events over 45 days, tens of thousands of attendees.

Fifteen minutes before the Guest of Honour was due to tour the centrepiece installation, it stopped working. I troubleshot through the opening speeches and had it running by the time he arrived. No one knew.

That’s the job.

Strategy & Consulting

Whether you’re starting from scratch or your current marketing isn’t working, the problem is usually the same. No clear direction.

I work with founders and SMEs to get clear on your positioning, your message, and what you should actually be doing. That might be a 30, 60, 90 day plan your team can execute. It might be a few months working alongside you to get things moving. It depends on where you are and what you need.

What it looks like in practice

A brand I work on had nothing when I started. No presence, no audience, no market. I built the strategy from the ground up, launch sequencing across multiple markets, social content direction, and an outreach plan to grow partnerships overseas. The social following grew. The launches landed.

That’s what a clear plan does.

Content & Copywriting

Content and copywriting

The right words do the selling for you. The wrong ones just take up space.

I write copy that carries your brand across every channel and every moment. A single blog post or a full content suite. Social captions, EDMs, website copy, campaign messaging. One-off or ongoing. Whatever you need to show up consistently and say the right thing to the right people.

What it looks like in practice

For a fundraising campaign I worked on, the copy had one job: get people to care enough to act. That meant awareness posts to build the story, caption copy to drive signups, and EDM copy to convert interest into purchases. The hampers sold. The cause got funded.

Words did that.
